History

In 1986 our former director, Johan van Wezel, started to to work from home in the town of Dorst, as a refrigeration and electrical fitter. Soon afterwards, he started to specialise in panel construction. At that time, distribution devices and control panels were manufactured for the refrigeration industry.

During the initial 15 years, the company flourished and soon outgrew its premises in Dorst and, in 2001, relocated to Breda, where Van Wezel is still based.

Following its relocation, the company specialised in distribution devices and busbar systems manufactured by the reputable company Schneider Electric.

In 2008, Van Wezel elektrotechniek became a licence holder of Okken distributors and, in 2012, a licence holder of Okken Motor Control Centers (MCC) by Schneider Electric.

In 2015, the current executive board took the reins. The board consists of Frank van Rooij and Perry Geerts.
